One AF record shows this William as having a wife (in other versions either not listed or as Mrs. William TAYLOR) Sarah DAVIS also from CT, but with the marraige happening in Virginia. So far cannot find any evidence for this apart from the one AF record. One record in Ped. Resource File also shows this (disc 22). Need to check this.

In AF b. date given as abt 1688 (or of w. Mary, abt 1690) not consistent with childrens b. dates. ID of this Robert with Robert (b. 1672) of Tynemouth, Northumberland is conjecture, but happens to locate nicely in both space and time with a Mary JENNISON (b. 1668) of Newcastle Upon Tyne, Northumberland. The rest of the ancestry of both Robert and Mary is based on IGI92 records pieced together as reasonable and the most likely found.
Birth based on an extracted record. Another extr. rec.(otherwise identical) with b. date of 6 Nov 1664 also exists, either another Robert in another family, or a previously deceased brother. If another family, then not as likely as our ancestor because of age when mar. (unless a subsequent marraige).
